This little Subie went to market…

Did you ever have one of those weeks….I sure had a tuff one.... mental fatigue is a real thing. By Friday, I was just done and all I wanted was to go home take a hot bath. It was the first Saturday in a long time that Robert and I both had a Saturday off and I was going to sleep in but of course my body didn’t cooperate! Getting old ain’t no place for sissies ~ Betty Davis.

Yep…. You guessed it, I was up before the sun! The house was quiet so I enjoyed some peace and quiet time with my fur babies. Of course I had a cup of coffee or 3 and while making my grocery list decided to take Ruby on an adventure to the farmers market.  OSU-OKC’s farmers market was our market of choice so we gassed Ruby up and off we went.  Relocated to Scissor Tale Park downtown, OSU-OKC’s farmers market has always been a favorite and as a bonus, we found out it was the one year anniversary of Scissor Tale.

There was live cello music, (one of my all time favorite instruments) tons of artisan booths and Rugby.  Apparently we have a rugby league here in OKC.... who knew. Honestly, it was just nice to be out and about and be around people like normal again.  (Well as normal as face masks and social distancing can be lol).

Fresh spinach, carrots and the most amazing lettuce mix from The Looney Farm; fresh organic eggs from Canadian Valley Farms; zucchini and summer squash, home grown tomatoes, sweet peppers and new potatoes from Crows Farm Market, and we finished it off with a fresh loaf of sourdough from @signaturebakery and a bottle of Reisling from Wild Horse Farm. What a haul!.  Let’s just say we really put @rubythesubie cargo net to good use.

Peace, Love and Subarus!

Terri
