Studio in a Bag

  • Photos on the Vine 6523 East Lancaster Avenue Fort Worth, TX, 76112 United States (map)

Starting the New Year is a great time to revisit the single most important aspect of photography, LIGHT!

We will start with a quick review of how light works and then dive in to a basic light kit that you can grab to create stunning images easily.  Robert will show you the minimum gear to load up into you “Studio in a Bag” and which items will get you the best bang for the buck.  You will be surprised what can be accomplished with one small light.

This class is focused on practical lighting that is useable immediately without getting into the technical jargon that slows down newcomers to off-camera lighting.  We will walk you through the good, bad and the ugly of the different basic tools needed and how to use them from setup to tear down.  You will have an opportunity to get your hands dirty and shoot using this basic setup.

Bring your camera, a 50mm lens (or similar), note taking supplies and an open mind.   You will walk out filled with the right information to the images you want with very little equipment.  The secret to great photography isn’t the gear… it’s maximizing what you know about light!  Come join us for an inspiriting evening and get ready for a fabulous year of creating stunning pictures.
